A-State Women's Basketball to make television appearances this season

A pair of Arkansas State women's basketball games have been added to the television schedule for the upcoming season per an announcement made by the A-State Department of Athletics.


The Red Wolves' regular season home opener Nov. 11 against Missouri State will be broadcast by KY3, Inc., and KYTV (TV) in Springfield, Mo., and in the Kansas City and St. Louis areas on Time Warner Sports Channel and Charter Cable Sports.


In addition, A-State's Sun Belt Conference matchup at Western Kentucky on Jan. 18 will be broadcast by the Hilltopper Sports Satellite Network and will be available nationally on ESPN3 in 72 million homes via WatchESPN.com, various smartphones and tablets and Xbox LIVE.  The A-State-WKU contest will also be available to 21 million U.S. college students and United States-based military personnel via computers connected to on-campus and on-base networks.  The games may also be available on ESPN Full Court and will be announced approximately 10-14 days before the Jan. 18 contest.


A-State fans can purchase their tickets for all 2013-14 season home contests by either calling 870-972-2781 or 888-278-3267.
