SENECA, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A Michigan-based automotive powertrain manufacturer has announced plans to expand its Seneca, SC, operations.

BorgWarner Inc. plans to invest $24.6 million to expand, creating approximately 105 new jobs.

The company already employs more than 600 in South Carolina and supplies for automotive brands, including VW/Audi, Ford, Toyota, Renault/Nissan, General Motors, Hyundai/Kia, Daimler, Chrysler, Fiat, BMW, Honda, John Deere, PSA and MAN.

The Seneca facility is located on Wells Highway and the expansion is expected to be completed during the next few years.
