WHITE COUNTY, AR (KAIT) – Criminal charges will not be filed against the owner of three dogs that killed a Bradford 4-year-old earlier this month, according to the White County Sheriff's Department.

No charges will be filed against the boy's mother either. She was also at the home at the time of the attack.

The three dogs were "destroyed" by request of the dog owner, according to a press release sent to Region 8 News.

According to White County Chief Deputy Phillip Miller, the sheriff's office received a call at around 3:24 p.m. on November 8 after Levi Watson was attacked on Piker Rd. in the Bradford area.

Bradford fire crews and EMS arrived to the scene and treated the child. Deputy Miller said the child was taken to the White County Medical Center where he later died. Miller said deputies and detectives with the sheriff's office was investigating the incident and the owner was cooperating with them.
