Town Theatre's most requested comedy is back.

The Foreigner will be playing Nov. 15 to Dec. 1 at the Town Theatre.

The play follows Charlie, who has been left on his own at a fishing lodge deep in the heart of rural Georgia. He's so painfully shy and terrified at the thought of making conversation with strangers that he's asked his one friend, Froggy LeSueur, to tell the others at the lodge that he's a "foreigner" and can't speak a word of English, according to the Town Theatre's website.

A lodge owner, who has never traveled, is delighted to cater for a stranger who is "as foreign as the day is long."

In Town's version, the role of Charlie is taken by Frank Thompson (Joseph… and White Christmas). Kathy Hartzog (The Music Man and Always…Patsy Cline) appears as Betty with the role of Ellard played by Charlie Goodrich (The Fox on the Fairway and Les Miserables).

Catherine is created by Erika Bryant (Les Miserables) and Patrick Dodds (Joseph… and Grease) is the Rev. David. The part of Froggy is portrayed by Waldo Medlin (Chitty Chitty Bang Bang). Bill DeWitt (The 39 Steps) appears for the second time in The Foreigner at Town recreating his role as Owen Musser.
