GAINESVILLE, FL - Jerron Seymour rushed for three touchdowns, and Vanderbilt intercepted Florida's Tyler Murphy three times to storm past Florida 34-17 Saturday.

The win ended a 22-game losing streak to the Gators as Vanderbilt picked up its second win in Gainesville and first since 1945.

Vanderbilt has now won two of three games with wins coming at home against Georgia and at Florida. It is the first time Vanderbilt has ever defeated Georgia and Florida in the same season.

Vanderbilt improved to 5-4 overall and 2-4 in the SEC with the win. The Gators dropped to 4-5 overall and 3-4 in the league.

The Commodore offense capitalized on Florida's mistakes by scoring touchdowns on all three interceptions. Seymour scored touchdowns following two of those interceptions and quarterback Patton Robinette had the other.

Seymour totaled 62 yards on 24 carries. Robinette was 6-of-12 passing for 57 yards. Jordan Matthews had five catches for 45 yards.
