JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) – In the last 48 hours, Jonesboro Police Department has worked three fraudulent charge cases. As the holiday season starts to pick up, it's important to be aware of the activity on your bank statements.

Ever since Debbrah Parker became a victim of credit card fraud, she's stayed on top of her credit card activity.

"I make sure there are no charges on there that shouldn't be on there," said Parker.

Small business owner, Lori Warren, said she's constantly checking not only her business purchases but her personal ones.

"I check them every day for any activity," said Warren.

It might seem extreme, but paying close attention to card activity and checking it often can mean the difference between being safe or sorry.

"Check your statements," said Parker. "If you don't check your statements, you don't know if it's happening to you or not."
