> Mizzou Basketball is back in action Tuesday night as the Tigers host Southern Illinois at Mizzou Arena ...  Tim Fuller helped guide the Tigers to a dominating 89-53 win over Southeastern Louisiana on Nov. 8, but the test gets more difficult tonight as Mizzou faces Southern Illinois at home for the first time in nearly 21 years.

> Friday's victory was the first of Fuller's career and produced Mizzou's largest margin of victory in a season opener since 2000 ... The 36-point win was the largest in an opener since a 90-49 victory against Savannah State on Nov. 17, 2000 ... The 36-point victory was also the largest margin in the SEC on opening night.

> Missouri is looking for a 2-0 start for the eighth consecutive season ... Missouri is also looking for its first win against a Missouri Valley team since Dec. 3, 2006, when the club topped Evansville at home, 73-54.

> Mizzou had great balance in the opener with four players reaching double figures in scoring ... The Tigers shot an impressive 54 percent from the floor and 52 percent from three-point range ... Jabari Brown paced Mizzou with 19 points and seven rebounds, while freshman Wes Clark added 13 points, four assists and zero turnovers.

> The Tigers continue to get excellent scoring from their starting guard tandem of Brown, Jordan Clarkson and Earnest Ross ... Together the veteran trio combined for 45 points, 15 rebounds and six assists.

> The Mizzou freshman class also enjoyed a solid debut ... The group of Clark, Johnathan Williams, III and Torren Jones produced 23 points, 16 boards and five assists.

> Mizzou has been very good at home under Head Coach Frank Haith's teams ... The Tigers are 34-1 at Mizzou Arena since 2011-12 and were a perfect 17-0 at home last season.

> Mizzou sports a 138-21 (.869) record at home since the building opened in 2004-05 ... Mizzou is also 85-4 at home since 2008-09, an incredible .955 winning percentage.

> Missouri owns a 19-game homecourt winning streak dating back to the final home game of the 2011-12 campaign ... That winning streak ranks No. 4 nationally ... South Dakota State owns the longest active home winning streak at 30 games heading into the 2013-14 season.

> Non-conference opponents have not enjoyed their stops in Columbia, Mo., over the last few seasons and the Tigers have raced to an incredible 74 consecutive wins at home vs. non-league opposition since the end of the 2005-06 campaign ... Missouri's last non-conference loss at home came vs. Sam Houston State in the 2005 Preseason NIT, but since then, Missouri has gone nearly eight full seasons without a loss.

> While Haith and his staff have been outstanding at revamping Mizzou's roster, the Tigers will look to replace 63 percent of its points, 65 percent of its rebounds and 76 percent of its assists from last season's 23-11 campaign.

> Missouri Basketball returns to action on Tuesday as the Tigers take on Southern Illinois at Mizzou Arena.

> There are several ties between the Missouri and SIU programs ... SIU Director of Athletics Mario Moccia was a staffer at Mizzou, as was SIU Deputy Director of Athletics, Chet Savage ... The Voice of Mizzou Basketball, Mike Kelly, is an SIU alum.

> Tiger fans will see a few familiar faces on the SIU bench ... Barry Hinson was Head Coach at Missouri State for eight seasons and one of his assistant coaches, Anthony Beane, played at Three Rivers Community College in Poplar Bluff and then at Kansas State ... Beane was 1-4 vs. Missouri, including a loss to the Tigers in the Big Eight Tournament finals, 68-56, at Kemper Arena in Kansas City.

> Speaking of Kansas City, Missouri Basketball returns to KC on Nov. 16 to face Hawaii ... It's Mizzou's first trip to Sprint Center since winning the 2012 Big 12 Championship, it's final as a member of the conference ... Missouri has won five consecutive games at Sprint Center overall.

> Mizzou will face Hawaii in that KC return, which is looking to improve to 3-0 early Tuesday morning ... The Rainbow Warriors have early wins over Tennessee State and Western Michigan and face New Mexico State at 3 a.m. Tuesday morning as part of the ESPN 24-Hours of Hoops marathon.

> Missouri is facing a Missouri Valley foe for just the second time since 2003 ... The Tigers faced Southern Illinois in the 2003 NCAA Tournament and also defeated Evansville in 2006-07.

> Missouri made 12 three-pointers in the season-opener, no unfamiliar feat for Head Coach Frank Haith's teams ... Missouri has hit 10+ treys in a game 17 times over the last three years and Mizzou is an impressive 14-3 in those contests.

> Mizzou continues to feast in the month of November over the last few seasons ... The Tigers are 12-1 in November since 2011 and are 39-6 in November since 2006.

> Mizzou will look to continue its homecourt domination vs. non-league foes ... Overall Missouri has won 74 consecutive home games vs. non-league opposition since the end of the 2005-06 campaign ... In fact Mizzou has won 46-of-49 regular season non-league games (regardless of site) since Dec. 12, 2009, dating back to a road loss at Oral Roberts.

> Missouri is receiving votes in both the Associated Press and USA Today Coaches Top 25 polls ... The Tigers are ranked No. 38 by the Coaches and No. 43 by the media.

> Missouri continues a furious stretch of games, which will see the Tigers play seven regular-season games over the next three weeks ... Four of those games will be played at Mizzou Arena and three (Hawaii, Northwestern and Nevada) will be played on a neutral court.

> That first game away from home will come at Sprint Center in Kansas City vs. Hawaii before two games at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas vs. Northwestern and Nevada.

> Head Coach Frank Haith enters his third season at Missouri and will look to lead the Tigers to their third consecutive 20-win campaign ... Only Norm Stewart, Quin Snyder and Mike Anderson have enjoyed three 20-win seasons at Mizzou ... Stewart of course led the way with 17 20-win campaigns ... Snyder and Anderson each had three ... Haith will resume his coaching duties Nov. 28 vs. Northwestern at the Las Vegas Invitational.

> Missouri has won at historic levels over the last five seasons and MU begins its search for a sixth consecutive 20-win campaign on Friday ... In fact the Tigers have won 23+ games each of the last five seasons.

> The five consecutive 20-win seasons is a school record and Missouri's five consecutive trips to the NCAA Tournament is the longest active streak in the Southeastern Conference.

> Mizzou Basketball will look to extend its 19-game home court winning streak at Mizzou Arena ... The Tigers have not lost at home since the 2011-12 season and Frank Haith is 34-1 on his home court, including this current stretch with Tim Fuller serving as interim.

> Mizzou Arena has been the site of two undefeated home seasons in its history ... Missouri was 18-0 in 2008-09 and was 17-0 at home last season ... Hearnes Center, the former home of Missouri Basketball, was the site of five undefeated home campaigns (1974-75, 1980-81, 1988-89, 1989-90 and 1993-94).

> Missouri has been incredible at home in non-conference games the last six years ... Overall the Tigers have won 74 consecutive non-league games at Mizzou Arena and are 84-4 at home (all games) since 2008-09.

> Since 2006-07 (67-0) the club's margin of victory has been 26.5 points in those non-league home tilts.

> Mizzou will have two transfers sitting out this season ... Zach Price transferred from Louisville, where the 6-foot-10 forward was a member of the Cardinals' NCAA National Championship team ... Deuce Bello transferred from Baylor ... Both will be classified as redshirt juniors next season.

> Mizzou will be on national television a school-record  20 times this season ... That number has grown each of Mizzou's two years in the SEC ... The Tigers were on national TV 18 times last season, which was also a school record.
