Posted: Updated:

LITTLE RIVER, SC (WMBF) - Police hope that DNA and a fingerprint collected from a home in Little River will lead them to the person who broke in to that house.

The home invasion was reported to Horry County Police on Veterans Day around 1 p.m. The woman who lives in that house claimed she had been away overnight, and when she returned, several items were missing.

Police found blood on the bathroom window and a closet. A lawn chair nearly by led police to determine the alleged burglar used the chair to break the window.

A charm bracelet, ring, TV, and two guns were taken from the home. Anyone with information on this crime is asked to call 915-TIPS.
