Knight (5-9) was a three-year starter at Northside High School in Fort Smith, Ark. and was the 2013 team captain for the Lady Bears.  She led Northside in kills and digs as a senior and earned All-Conference honors in 2012 and 2013.  Additionally, she was named to the 7A All-State team in 2013 after leading the Lady Bears to the semifinals of the 2013 7A state tournament.

Weaver (5-9) will come to Arkansas State from Valley View High School in Jonesboro.  She was named the Wendy's Arkansas Player of the Year after helping lead the Blazers to the 2013 4A state championship.  She was named the 2013 4A state tournament MVP and earned All-State honors three times in her career.  During her time at Valley View she was a member of four state championship teams and a three-time All-Conference selection.

"We are very excited about this recruiting class," Rehr said.  "Bringing in three Arkansas players plus the three others is going to help our offense in the future.  This is an experienced class and they will be used immediately when they arrive on campus."

Uke, a 6-1 middle blocker from Ursuline Academy of Dallas, Texas, was named to the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools 5A All-Tournament team in 2012 as the Bears reached the semifinals of the TAPPS 5A state tournament.  She helped Ursuline reach the 2013 TAPPS 5A state championship and was a 5A TAPPS honorable mention middle blocker.

Murphy is a 6-3 middle hitter/right side from Jefferson City, Mo. and was a four-year starter for Helias High School.  She earned All-District and All-Region honors her junior and senior years and was voted a team captain during her senior season.  She helped lead the Lady Crusaders to two district titles and one sectional appearance was named to the Academic All-State team all four years in high school.

Less (5-11) was a four-year starter at St. Teresa High School in Decatur, Ill. where she helped lead the Bulldogs to the final four of the state tournament in 2010 and 2011.  She earned All-County and All-Conference honors each year from 2010 to 2013 and was an All-State selection in 2011 and 2012.  She finished her career as the all-time leader in career kills (1545) and digs (1426) at St. Teresa and ranks ninth all-time in the state of Illinois for career kills.

The A-State volleyball team recently defeated Georgia State to improve to 7-9 in conference play and travels to ULM Nov. 15 in its next match.  First serve against the Warhawks is scheduled for 6 p.m.
