    JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) – A memorial fund has been created for an 11-year-old girl who died after she became trapped beneath a pipe in a water-filled ditch for 20 minutes.

SEARCY, AR (KAIT) - The Searcy Police Department is no longer investigating a Thursday afternoon shooting that sent one person to the hospital.

Dylan Jones, 23, of Judsonia was the victim in the shooting. According to police, he no longer wants to cooperate. 

Jones is being held at the White County Detention Center on warrants for theft of property, parole violation and residential burglary. 

One of the suspects in the shooting, Samuel Lunnie,22, of Searcy, is also in custody at the White County Detention Center. The second suspect was a juvenile

Corporal Steve Hernandez said officers were called out to South Pecan Street around 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. That's where witnesses told officers that two black men shot several rounds into a white four-door passenger car. 

Police say the car then drove off and the men ran away. Hernandez said they were later found hiding in an apartment around 5 p.m. 

An officer found the victim in the White County Medical Center emergency room. He was shot in the leg.
