VAN ZANDT COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -

Five people are charged in a multi-agency investigation after a property in the city of Grand Saline was burglarized earlier this month.

According to Van Zandt County Constable's, five people have been charged in this case. Judson Brown, Donny Edwards, Timothy Lewis and Brittany Ashley are four of the five suspects that have been arrested and have confessed to the crime. The fifth suspect has yet to be arrested, and there is currently and outstanding arrest for this person.

Officials tell us that the property where the burglary happened is located in the 4-thousand block of County Road 4117. The property is owned by a family that lives in Houston, but we're told use this property as a weekend home.

Constable's tell us that a neighbor saw a cut fence and tracks onto the property, and then called the Sheriff's office Friday the 8th. We're being told by authorities that antiques, furniture, wall clocks, weed eaters and other items were stolen. Authorities believe most of these items did not have serial numbers and that the suspects were going to take the property to a pawn shop.

Officials added that the suspects were under the influence of drugs during the burglary, and that the property owners were not home at the time of the burglary.

We are continuing to follow this story and will have the very latest posted on KLTV.com
