Michael Milian signs with WBC Baseball

Michael Milian, a pitcher from Randleman, N.C., has signed a scholarship to play baseball for Williams Baptist College.

The right-handed pitcher signed with the Eagles on November 6th in a ceremony at his high school, Faith Christian High School, located in Ramseur, N.C.

Milian's honors at his high school include being a North Carolina Christian School Association first team all-conference selection his junior and sophomore seasons as well as being chosen as the school's best pitcher his junior season and best defensive player his sophomore season. His junior stats on the mound include a 2.45 ERA with 72 strikeouts in only 45.2 innings of work.

"He came up to visit us in October. He had a very good visit. We liked what we saw from him and he has a potential to play early," stated Head Coach Frank Lee.

Michael is the son of Mike and Ana Milian of Randleman, N.C.

WBC is a four year liberal arts institution located in Walnut Ridge, Ark. Williams competes in the American Midwest Conference and is a member of the NAIA.
