Man accused of making more than 100 threatening calls to Louisville hospital

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A man is accused of making dozens of threatening phone calls to a Louisville hospital on Monday.

According to an arrest report, James Wesley Heady, 60, called the 4th floor nurses' station at Norton Hospital more than 100 times in four hours, threatening to rape and kill several staff members who refused to let him talk to his ex who's employed there.

The ex gave police Heady's name, address and phone number. Officers located him around 11:00 Monday night inside a room at Hotel Louisville at 120 West Broadway.

Police said Heady told them it was his word against the victims' and became violent and agitated when asked about his ex.

The arrest report said Heady's phone history showed he had made several calls to his ex and Norton Hospital.

Heady is charged with 3rd degree terroristic threatening.
