2 arrested in Wood County burglary, 1 on the run

PORTAGE, OH (Toledo News Now) -

The Wood County Sheriff's Office is investigating a breaking and entering that occurred in the 10000 block of Portage Road in Portage Wednesday morning.

The sheriff says a property owner called after a vehicle was spotted in a driveway with subjects inside an abandoned home.

The subjects fled the scene on foot, but were apprehended approximately 1 mile from the scene by two sheriff's deputies. Stolen property was found in the vehicle.

Robert Hall, 23, and Cynthia Curlis, 35, were booked in the Wood County Justice Center. Hall and Curtis have been charged with breaking and entering, along with possession of criminal tools. Additional charges are pending further investigation.

A reported third suspect involved has not been located yet.
