Jonesboro man adds drug charges to his warrants

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) – A Jonesboro man wanted for domestic battery and warrants was caught with drugs.

Jonesboro police were in search of a white man wearing a gray jacket, wanted for warrants and domestic battery. An officer spotted a man fitting the description on Culberhouse. According to the reports, when the officer asked the man questions, he appeared "extremely nervous" and said the officer was scaring him.

The officer ran the suspect, Andy Holland's ID and confirmed he had warrants. During a search, a syringe and a white powdery substance was discovered on Holland's person.  Holland confirmed that the substance was meth.

Holland was taken to the Craighead County Detention Center where held for a probable cause hearing on the meth and drug paraphernalia. He was also cited for his warrants. His bond was set at $2000.
