Brookport Bridge to reopen Thursday at noon

BROOKPORT, IL (KFVS) -

The US 45 Brookport Bridge is scheduled to reopen on Thursday at noon.

The bridge has been closed since Nov. 17 after an EF3 tornado struck Brookport.

No sightseeing will be allowed in the damaged areas.

The Illinois State Police is warning victims to be aware of the possibility of looters and scam artists.

The ISP will continue to patrol Brookport.

A curfew from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. will remain in effect on Nov. 21.
