20 arrestados en investigación de narcotraficantes en Arkansas

WEST MEMPHIS, AR (KAIT) – Oficiales arrestaron a 20 personas en West Memphis el lunes durante una investigación de narcotraficantes.

El fiscal de EE.UU., Christopher Thyer dijo que los sospechosos eran repartidaores de drogas en esta area.

Ellos ahora tienen cargos de conspiración de drogas y delito de armas.

Policia pudo recuperar mas de 500 gramos de cocaina, 28 gramos de crack, y varias armas.

"Elegimos a los peores en esta investigación," dijo Agente especial del FBI, David Shepard. "Ellos tenian varios delitos en su record como crimenes violentos, muertes y asaltos agravado."

La investigación duro tres años y fue una colaboración entre la oficina de fiscales, el FBI, la Policia Estatal de Arkansas, y la Policia de West Memphis.

Agente especial Shepard dijo que estos arestos son solo el comienzo.
