Work on AR roads won't stop on Thanksgiving

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) – You might want to leave a little early if you are going to see family and friends for Thanksgiving because of road construction.

On Monday the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department stated in a news release that construction will continue on many roads through the holiday.

The AHTD urges drivers to be cautious and expect delays in work zones. Before hitting the road, check IDriveArkansas.com for the latest on travel conditions.
