Lubbock man facing charges after entering cosmetology school with gun

A Lubbock man is facing charges after entering Lubbock Cosmetology School with a gun on Tuesday, Nov. 26.

Police say Paul Bruster, 32, flashed a gun to students and employees then barricaded himself in the school's bathroom.

When police arrived they were able to talk Bruster out of the bathroom and arrested him around 9 a.m.

Police say the gun was an air-soft gun.

No shots were fired.

Bruster is being charged with making a terroristic threat and possession of drug paraphernalia.
