Funeral set for Alfred Wright

JASPER, TX (KTRE) -

Funeral services are set for a Jasper man who had been missing for 18 days before being found dead Monday afternoon.

Services for Alfred Nehemiah Wright, 28, will take place at the First United Methodist Church on 329 N. Bowie St. at the Wesley Center on Saturday at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for monetary donations made payable to the Alfred Wright Recovery Fund at the Robinson Community Funeral Home at 345 State Highway 63 West, Jasper. The number for the funeral home is 409-384-3665.

The Texas Rangers are investigating Wright's death. A spokesman for the department will not be available for comment until Monday.

Wright went missing in Sabine County on Nov. 8. His body was found near the location he was last seen on Nov. 25.
