Suspects wanted after White Co. woman shot in home invasion

LETONA, AR (KAIT) - Sheriff's deputies are looking for three people considered armed and dangerous after they broke into a home, demanded money and then shot the homeowner.

White County Sheriff's deputies arrived at a home on Sibley Trail in Letona around 7:15 p.m. Saturday and found Tanya Bonner, 57, with gunshot wounds. She was taken to a White County hospital. She was treated and released the same weekend.

According to police the suspects were last seen wearing dark colored clothing and masks. The three suspects are described by police as white males, in their 20s or early 30s and range in height from 5 feet 6 inches to 6 feet tall.

The men were also armed when they left the home on foot.
