BAXTER COUNTY, AR (KAIT) – A citizen working with  the Baxter County Sheriff's Office helps in a drug arrest.

In July, a cooperating citizen was given $240 to buy drugs from Ryan Wade Amyx, 26. According to the sheriff's office, Amyx sold approximately two grams of meth, four amphetamine/dextroamphetamine   20 mg pills, and two vyvanse 70 mg capsules to the citizen.

Amyx used a cell phone to conduct the sale and the transaction was monitored by investigators.

Officials said Amyx was arrested on Nov. 26 and charged with delivery of methamphetamine, two counts of delivery of schedule II controlled substance, unlawful use of a communications device and proximity to certain facilities.

He is being held at the Baxter County Detention Center on a $20,000 bond. Amyx will appear in circuit court on Dec. 9.
