(WMC-TV) - A second round of winter weather caused ice to form on roads, bridges, and overpasses in Shelby County overnight.

The icy conditions caused multiple accidents overnight on I-385 near of Macon Road, Ridgeway Road, and Hacks Cross Road, as well as Walnut Grove at Humphreys Boulevard. Several stretches of I-385 were closed for several hours as police responded to accidents.

At least three people, who had stopped to help a woman who had crashed, were forced to jump from a bridge to avoid getting hit by another car skidding toward them. At least one person was taken to The MED in critical condition.

All roads are now open.
