Mizzou Cotton Bowl ticket allotment sold out

From the University of Missouri

The University of Missouri has sold out of its allotment of 13,500 tickets to the 2014 AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic, as announced today by the Department of Athletics.  The game, set to pit 9th-ranked Mizzou (11-2 overall) against 13th-ranked Oklahoma State (10-2), will take place Jan. 3rd at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, at 7 p.m. (central time).

Thanks to strong pre-sale orders from Tiger Scholarship Fund donors and season ticket holders, fewer than 1,000 tickets were released to the general public Monday at Noon, and those tickets were purchased in less than 10 minutes.  TSF members and season ticket holders had the ability to reserve tickets beginning in mid-November.  Mizzou Athletics took an extra 1,000 tickets from Cotton Bowl officials late last night in anticipation of demand exceeding the original 12,500 number announced Sunday evening.

Mizzou fans still looking for a ticket to see the Tigers make their third alltime appearance in the Cotton Bowl are encouraged to use the official secondary ticket provider for Mizzou Athletics, Vivid Seats.  A direct link for Cotton Bowl tickets is:  http://www.vividseats.com/ncaaf/cotton-bowl-tickets/cotton-bowl-1-4-1380837.html?wsUser=245&wsVar=COTTON.
