PARAGOULD, AR (KAIT) - A special ceremony took place this morning at the Paragould Medical Park.

Hospital representatives, city officials and Governor Mike Bebee came out for a special tour of the 12 million dollar facility that houses four physician clinics.

The facility is a partnership between Arkansas Methodist Medical Center and St. Bernards Healthcare.

President and CEO of St. Bernards, Chris Barber, feels the services this partnership is going to provide will help meet a great need in the area."It feels great to meet a need for individuals who need good, high quality healthcare and be able to deliver that locally is just wonderful," said Barber.

President and CEO of Arkansas Methodist Medical Center, Barry Davis said, "We offer many services.  Many different specialties, physician wise as well as physical therapy, radiology, laboratory, wound care.  We just think   it's going to be a real prize for the community."

The new facility will house Paragould Doctors' Clinic, Fonticiella Medical Clinic, Paragould Pediatrics and Richardson Orthopedic Surgery & Pain Specialists.
