Artista famoso ayuda al Centro Hispano recaudar fondos

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - El Centro Hispano De Jonesboro presentara a un artista international para juntar dinero para su programa.
El artista Rolando Diaz es Cubano-Americano y pintara para recaudar fondos para el programa después de escuela proveído por el Centro Hispano.
El evento comenzara el Jueves de 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. en la casa del canciller que se encuentra en 1503 E. Nettleton.
Este evento es el segundo año y es para darle navidad a las niños.
Los tickets para entrar son $75 por persona y $125 por pareja. Para mas información puede llamar al Centro Hispano (870) 926-1118.

The Hispanic Center of Jonesboro will present an International artist in hope to raise money for their program.
Rolando Diaz is Cuban-American and will use his talents as a fundraiser in the 2nd annual Christmas for Kids.
The event is Thursday and will go on from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. at ASU's Chancellor's Home found at 1503 E. Nettleton.
Tickets are $75 per person and $125 for each couple. For more information you can call (870) 926-1118.

    In April, Williams Baptist cross country runner Alex Van Herpen competed in the prestigious Boston Marathon. An incredible feat. Learning about his path to get there, it stopped me in my tracks. Five years ago Alex was bound to a wheelchair. in January of 2011, he was diagnosed with strep throat, the flu and mono all within a two week period. For five months Alex was bound to a wheel chair. One day he just got up and walked. Medical experts had no explanation for any of it.  ...

    Jonesboro Police Officer Joseph Bransetter pulled over a car for no license plate illumination shortly after 9 p.m. Tuesday. Bransetter said after coming into contact with the driver, Eiichi Moore, he noticed the smell of marijuana.

    Several people are gearing up for this year's Portfest Festival. But, the location has changed.

    According to Julie Allen, director of Newport Area Chamber of Commerce, they're moving this year's Portfest Festival to downtown Newport.
