JONESBORO, AR (KAIT)- Gubernatorial Candidate Curtis Coleman spoke Thursday at a meeting of the Northeast Arkansas Political Animals club.
The Republican candidate told the group that Arkansas could benefit from someone who is not entrenched in the political system. "I'm not a professional politician. I'm not even a lawyer. I'm a businessman. I think we've reached a place in Arkansas where we need a businessman sitting at the helm of state government. Somebody who understands business principals who understands that overhead and unnecessary cost are enemies to success," Coleman said.
Around 50 people attended the event. The next forum will happen January 3rd.
