Searcy police charge suspect in Harding University burglary

SEARCY, AR (KAIT) - An arrest has been made in connection to the burglary at Harding University last week.

On December 4 around 9 a.m., Searcy Police Department was dispatched to the Harding University Soccer Complex for a burglary report.

Officers were told that five televisions were stolen from the complex, and several doors were damaged. Detectives then developed a suspect from evidence left at the scene.

Detectives located suspect Lekeon Martin, 22, of Bald Knob on Thursday, December 12.

 Martin was arrested and charged with commercial burglary.

He is being held at the White County Detention Center on a $15,000 bond.
