New CEO: Not selling Titans, review after this season

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - The family of late Tennessee owner Bud Adams will not sell the franchise he founded, and the man now in charge of the Titans says he will review every coach and player once the season ends.

Tommy Smith spoke Sunday before the Titans hosted the Cardinals in his first news conference since Adams died Oct. 21.

The Titans (5-8) have lost seven of nine games putting coach Mike Munchak's future in question with the number of empty seats growing each home game.

Smith says he knows how fans feel with a top executive at a handful of focus groups. Smith says they are going to fix the team for the fans and the review for any decisions will be as timely as possible the first week of January.
