Donations totaled for 12's Day of Giving

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

12's Day of Giving was a huge success this year as you helped bring Christmas to your neighbors who need it most.

WSFA 12 News partnered with the Montgomery Area Food Bank, Christmas Clearinghouse and Toys for Tots for 12's Day of Giving on Friday, December 13th and the donations have been tabulated.

We have collected $32,789. We've also collected 12,098 lbs. of food and 2,296 toys!

The mission of 12's Day of Giving is to help local families make the holidays special when they can't afford to otherwise.

During the history of 12's Day of Giving we have collected close to $283,000 in money alone.

Thanks to all who donated this year!
