'Miracle Molly' drug case heads to grand jury

The woman dubbed "Miracle Molly" after surviving a boat accident waived her preliminary hearing Tuesday morning in Morgan County, sending her case directly to a grand jury.

Molly Moses, 20, faces charges including distribution of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Decatur Police arrested her following a sting operation.

Moses was 16 when she survived a boating accident. She eventually lost one of her legs and has undergone dozens of surgeries. She is free on a $16,000 bond.
