Madison police arrest man for passing counterfeit bills

MADISON, AL (WAFF) -

Madison Police detectives have arrested a Huntsville man for theft and possession of counterfeit bills. The U.S. Secret Service is assisting in the case, and more charges may be pending.

Blake Obrian Ivory, 21, of Huntsville, is accused of using counterfeit bills to buy items from two individuals in Madison through Craigslist. 

Ivory was charged with two counts of second degree theft of property and two counts of first degree possession of a forged instrument. He was taken to the Madison County Jail on $15,000 bond.
