CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

Police were called to control a large crowd gathered outside of the Revol Wireless store on Carnegie Avenue in Cleveland Wednesday morning.

Earlier this month, the prepay wireless company announced they would be going out of business on January 16, 2014. Tuesday was the last day customers could make payments to extend service through the new year.

Select stores are to become Boost Mobile stores.

According to Boost officials, the transfer did not go as smoothly as they had hoped, and there were a few glitches. The company promises to have all glitches worked out by Thursday so customers may take advantage of a promotion offering them a free Boost mobile phone.
