WLOX Editorial: Ohio State students give South Mississippi hope & help
How far would you go to help someone you do not even know? Would you go 900 miles? Some Ohio State students did just that during their Christmas holiday break.
They made the trip from Columbus Ohio to the South Mississippi to help build a Habitat for Humanity home on 12th Street in Pascagoula for someone they had never met. I dare say these Buckeye students won't be building houses for a living, but we think they will continue to build and grow to be strong American Citizens who are not afraid of hard work.
We applaud the students and the Habitat program for making South Mississippi a better place to live and work.
