Food truck operators get approval for 7-day schedule

Food trucks will now have extended hours to operate throughout the week and in more locations besides Downtown. Food trucks will now have extended hours to operate throughout the week and in more locations besides Downtown.
HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

You will soon start seeing food trucks more often in Huntsville.

Thursday night, the city council approved an ordinance that allows them to operate seven days a week.

The ordinance also allows food trucks to set up in other areas of downtown, but they cannot park within 100 feet of any restaurant.

Hours of operation will be from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday, and from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. Thursday through Saturday.
