SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

The Chatham County jury has started deliberations in the murder trial for Shan Cheley who is accused in the slaying of 18-year-old Amber Deloach.

The prosecution recapped witnesses that testified throughout the week. A couple of men testified who have served time in prison with Cheley, one who said Cheley admitted to killing Deloach.

The defense told the jury, the reason Amber's blood was found inside the house was because Cheley and Deloach had sex on the floor.

This is day four of the murder trial. If the jury convicts Cheley, he could face life in prison without the possibility for parole.
