SHARP COUNTY, AR (KAIT) – A man is in jail after Sharp County authorities found meth during a traffic stop.

According to Sheriff Mark Counts, a deputy stopped a vehicle on Highway 167 Wednesday after receiving a reckless driving complaint.

Once the vehicle was stopped the officer asked driver, Chad Woolard, if he could do a search. Woolard gave permission to the deputy.

Counts stated the deputy found a plastic baggie containing a crystal-like substance suspected to be meth. A glass pipe with burnt residue was also found.

Woolard was arrested and taken to the Sharp County Jail.

He will face charges of felony possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.
