Traffic stop leads to meth, 1 arrest in Sharp Co.

SHARP COUNTY, AR(KAIT) – A man is in jail after Sharp County authorities found meth during atraffic stop.

According toSheriff Mark Counts, a deputy stopped a vehicle on Highway 167 Wednesday afterreceiving a reckless driving complaint.

Once the vehiclewas stopped the officer asked driver, Chad Woolard, if he could do a search. Woolardgave permission to the deputy.

Counts stated thedeputy found a plastic baggie containing a crystal-like substance suspected tobe meth. A glass pipe with burnt residue was also found.

Woolard wasarrested and taken to the Sharp County Jail.

He will facecharges of felony possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.
