TUSCALOOSA, AL (RNN) - Isaiah Philmore and Matt Stainbrook both scored 17 points to lead Xavier to a narrow win on the road against Alabama, 77-74.

The Musketeers (9-3) also got a strong bench performance from Myles Davis. He scored 10 points and was 4-for-4 from the free throw line, including a pair of clutch shots that put his team up by four with six seconds left.

Alabama (5-6) followed Davis' trip to the line with a 3-pointer by Retin Obasohan to cut the deficit to one.

After a quick foul, Dee Davis sealed it for Xavier with a perfect trip to the line. He scored 12 points in the game.

Philmore had a double-double, also pulling in 12 rebounds.

Trevor Releford led the Crimson Tide with 17 points, and Levi Randolph added 13. Shannon Hale scored 14 off the bench.
