LITTLE ROCK, AR (AP) - The University of Arkansas at Little Rock has revealed several upgrades to the university's baseball field.
Head coach Scott Norwood says new slats were installed to the outfield fence, a new pitcher's and bullpen mounds built, and new workout equipment added in the indoor hitting facility at Gary Hogan Field.
The upgrades are the most recent in a series of improvements to the field that in the past decade has received a new polyurethane turf to the infield and a $1.6 million renovation that included a new lighting system, the construction of the indoor hitting facility and seating expansion.
The Trojans open the 2013 season with a weekend series against Creighton at Gary Hogan Field beginning Friday, Feb. 14.
