Woman sought in Kansas City hotel robbery

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

Police need help to identify the suspect who robbed a Kansas City hotel early Thursday morning.

An employee of Crescent Hotel, located at 5701 Longview Rd., was working shortly after midnight when a woman entered the business, showed the clerk a gun and stole an unknown amount of cash from the register and the clerk.

The suspect fired one shot away from the clerk.

The suspect is described as 30 to 35 years of age, 5'6" to 5'8" tall and average build. She was wearing a black sweater, gray pants and white boots.
