Juvenile arrested for breaking into several cars

BAXTER COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - A 17-year-old juvenile from Baxter County was arrested after breaking into four cars between December 17 and 18.

One vehicle was broken into at the 50 block of North Dodd Creek Road. A woman's purse, wallet, cash, credit and debit cards, and two vehicle remote keys were stolen. The total loss was $522. 

A pickup truck was broken into at the 300 block of Hicks Road by a rock being thrown through the passenger window. The items stolen were a wallet and cash, credit cards, and an Iphone with charger. The value of the items was $500, and the damage to the vehicle totaled $1,195.

Another truck was broken into a the 90 block of North Dodd Creek Road. $4 in change was taken from this vehicle.

A fourth vehicle was broken into, and a wallet and cash, credit cards, photos, and cologne were stolen. The total loss was $137.

The juvenile was arrested on Friday. He was charged with a felony for breaking and entering and criminal mischief.

He also was charged with a misdemeanor for theft of property.
