Local lottery winner planning family vacation

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) –  Teresa Holder is packing her bags and getting ready to take her family on a much-needed vacation.

The Imboden resident was the first Arkansas Million Dollar Raffle winner to step forward and claim her $100,000 prize.

She purchased her winning ticket at the Price Chopper in Pocahontas.

On Friday, Holder dropped by the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Claim Center in Jonesboro with her son and daughter-in-law, Chadney and Caitlyn, to pick up her check.

When asked what she plans to do with her winnings, Holder said she planned on taking a trip with her family and would put the rest of the money in the bank.

Other high-tier prizes have yet to be claimed, so players are advised to check their numbers by visiting www.myarkansaslottery.com
