SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

A high speed chase that started at Gwinnett Street and I-516 led Georgia State Patrol all the way down Gwinnett to I-16 on Friday night.

With speeds reaching as high as 90 miles per hour, GSP put out spike strips on Gwinnett near I-16, where the suspect ran over them and continued on to Kayton Homes.

There, the passenger bailed out of the car and ran off. The driver Anthony Martin, 19, was arrested and GSP found a stolen gun.

Martin is facing multiple charges from Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police and Garden City Police. The vehicle was stolen and he is believed to be involved in other car thefts and other entering autos. Marijuana was also found on him.

Police are still looking for the passenger.
