CAT holds first of four public meetings

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

The Chatham Area Transit Authority held the first of a series of public meetings Tuesday to introduce proposed service changes for February and March.

In addition, CAT officials announced a new super stop at 36th and Waters that will divert routes for busses 12-27 and 28.

"With every change we have to bring what those impacts are to make sure that people know that we've looked at it that way," said CAT Chief Development Officer Ramond Robinson. "So that gives the passengars a chance to give us their feedback and what they think and it also gives us the valid information that we need."

This was the first of four meetings CAT will be holding through the month of January.
