Patches of ice could make travel difficult Thursday

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) – Icy patches are being reported around the Jonesboro and Paragould areas which could make for a difficult commute.

The Paragould Police Department stated Thursday morning that main highways appear to be clear with patches of ice. However, the side roads especially on the west and south sides of the city are the slickest.

Jonesboro authorities had similar reports about patchy ice Thursday morning as well.

It is suggested that if you do have to travel leave early and maintain a safe distance from other vehicles on the road.
