CABOT, AR - The 20th Arkansas soldier has died in Iraq since the start of the war.

Sergeant Ronald Baker of Cabot died at a hospital in Landstuhl, Germany, last week of injuries suffered in an October 7 explosion.  The 34-year-old had volunteered as a gunner for a supply mission when he was wounded in a car bomb.

Baker was a member of the Arkansas National Guard's 39th Support Battalion, based at Lonoke.  He leaves behind his parents, his wife and their seven-year-old daughter.
