17-year-old arrested for Richland stabbing death

RICHLAND, GA (WTVM) -

Two suspects have been arrested in connection to the stabbing death of a Richland man who was murdered on Dec. 23.

According to police, Leonard Protho was stabbed to death by his girlfriend's granddaughter. Aulexus Freeman, 17, was arrested today and charged with aggravated assault and murder. She was denied bond. 

A second suspect, Chrissan Freeman, was also arrested and charged with aggravated assault. Chrissan's bond is set at $5,000.

This case remains under investigation.
