WBC Baseball signs Daniel Lester from Cocoa Beach High School

The Williams Baptist College men's baseball team has signed Cocoa Beach High School catcher Daniel Lester. Lester is the fourth commitment forthe 2014-2015 WBC baseball team.

"He came up to Williams for two days in October," said Head Coach Frank Lee.  "He has a good stick and plays on a great travel team."

His honors included being named team captain, batting .407 his junior season, a robust .977 fielding percentage and he was the chief signal caller for a pitching staffthat held a conference best 2.22 ERA.

"He chose to come to WBC over a couple of NCAA Division II schools and NAIA schools. He has a chance to compete right away at catcher," addedLee.

Lester is the son of Denise and William Lester of Merritt Island, Fla.

Williams is a four-year, liberal arts college located at Walnut Ridge, Ark.  WBC is a member of the NAIA and the American Midwest Conference.
