LAWRENCE COUNTY, AR (KAIT) – A Minturn man was arrested Tuesday after police say he was caught selling prescription pills.

According to Lawrence County Sheriff Jody Dotson, officers used an informant to buy hydrocodone from Shawn Green, 33, on two separate occasions.

Information from the investigation allowed officials from the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office, the Third Judicial Task Force and the Black Rock Police department to obtain an arrest warrant for Green.

When officers in Lawrence County tried to arrest him, they learned he was at work in Jonesboro. He was arrested by Craighead County Sheriff's deputies and transported to the Lawrence County Jail to await a bond hearing.

Green is charged with two counts of delivery of a controlled substance (hydrocodone).
